This VIS image shows a small portion of the northern escarpment of Olympus Mons. The semi-circular deposit on the left side of the frame is a large landslide deposit.

Note: Although the title of this photo is named "Olympus Mons," only the southernmost landform in the image is actually part of the volcano itself. The remainder of the image is of the plain and other landforms immediately north of Olympus Mons.
